God Is Still Working While You're Waiting 🤍

Maybe nothing has changed yet.

You've prayed about it.

You've thought about it.

You've asked God for direction.

And you're still waiting.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't hearing no.

It's hearing nothing at all.

Because when you can't see anything changing, it's easy to wonder:

God, are You doing anything?

And maybe this is the reminder you needed today:

You don't have to see what God is doing for God to be doing something.

There are things happening that you cannot see yet.

Think about how many stories in the Bible included a waiting season.

Joseph had a dream long before he saw it fulfilled.

David was anointed long before he became king.

Abraham and Sarah received a promise long before Isaac arrived.

And the disciples experienced the devastation of Friday without knowing what Sunday would bring.

They were living in the middle of the story.

And sometimes, so are we.

Waiting isn't always wasted time.

There are seasons when God changes the situation.

And there are seasons when God uses the waiting to change us.

Maybe He's teaching you to trust Him differently.

Maybe He's closing something you keep trying to reopen.

Maybe He's preparing an opportunity you haven't even encountered yet.

Maybe He's strengthening you for something you're not ready to carry today.

Or maybe you simply don't know what He's doing yet.

And it's okay to say that, too.

Faith doesn't mean pretending that waiting is easy.

Faith says:

“God, I don't understand this yet, but I still trust You with it.”

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us:

“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power…” — Isaiah 40:31 AMP

Notice that waiting isn't described as doing nothing.

There is expectation in it.

There is hope in it.

There is trust in it.

So if you're in the middle right now…

Keep praying.

Keep showing up.

Keep doing the little thing God has placed in front of you today.

You don't have to figure out the entire story.

And you don't have to force the next chapter.

Sometimes your job is simply to remain faithful in the page you're on.

Because one day you may look back at this season and realize:

God wasn't absent.

You just couldn't see everything He was doing yet.
